and much much more.
Yes, all of these bands that shouldn't fit together will be crafted into one amazing radio show which only Nick Beckner and selected others can craft.
Also, in addition to this, there will be a test night. YES, I said it, there will be a test night this Sunday. I'm admittedly a little rusty, and I really want to give this my all and give the new software a good test run. It will be this Sunday night, and I will be playing several selections from my massive music library. The radio show, if everything goes according to plan, will be broadcast in stereo at 128 kbps, which is a very good quality. I will cut in from time to time to say the name of the next song, and if everything is going well, I just might give out some information where you can send me some requests. Right now, I'm shooting for 8 PM, and I will be in good old London for the broadcast.
Here's the plan. If there's something you think I would like to play before Sunday, you need to get me the MP3s or the CD for it so I can rip it to my external hard drive. Then, this Sunday, it might just show up on my online radio show. The link for the radio show will be placed on Facebook on Friday, and then again on Sunday right before the show starts. If possible, I may have some friends to help me play some music on those nights. I plan to start broadcasting a little early, but just some like talk show shit or podcasts, that way people can tune in in preparation.
I'm really excited about this, and several of you have mentioned being excited about it too. If that is true, tell everyone you can about the show, especially after the links have been posted. I will appreciate it.
I'm going to bed. Have fun, and I hope to see you THIS SUNDAY on my listeners' list for the test broadcast of the Berea Groove!
